I’ve been mired under a pile of unpleasantness for some time.  Now, with the advent of the horrors of Coronavirus-19 beginning to carve into our senses that pile just got a whole lot heavier.  At this point in time I, my husband Dennis, my family, friends and acquaintances are healthy.

But, throughout the day I find myself glued to the television and reading updates on the computer about the advancing threat.  At this point in time the people in China are beginning to see a lessoning of reported cases, the people of Italy seem to be succumbing, Europe is imploding and people in the United States in the last couple of days are beginning to experience firsthand social disruption as schools close, store shelves are bare and testing capability for the virus is dismally inadequate although politicians are optimistic.

As of this morning in the United States 2,100 people have the virus in 49 states.  West Virginia is the only holdout.  I have a sense, and others have said so too, that there are many, many more people who have it.  The very young, very old and infirm are the ones who are most at risk.

Spirit mentioned this morning that in the long run this will make us stronger.  They also hinted that it might happen every year and that the virus mutates as all viruses do.

I realize it all happens for a reason, but this one is a biggie and you can know things on the one hand but you feel it all on the other hand.

I ended up after a morning of internet surfing at The Course in Miracles.  Its web address is www.acim.org

I think it is important to keep our spirits up through all of this.  Go to www.acim.org and begin to read, “The Course in Miracles”.  It might help.

And whether you believe in it or not say a prayer.  My guide told me once there is always somebody listening.

We will all get through this.  Eventually.  How many will die I don’t know.  How many lives will be disrupted, I think all of us.  Just say a prayer, wash your hands often, practice social distancing and right now they are saying that is 6 feet, if you feel sick stay home and stay away from crowds.  There is no where to place blame for this because we are all in it together.
